Mycrane adds new types of cranes to enter short-term rentals

Mycrane, a Dubai-based digital disruptor for cranes and construction space, has added four new types of lifting devices to its innovative online crane rental platform.

The introduction of boom trucks, hydraulic gantry systems, mini-cranes and aerial platforms to the site marks the company’s entry into the short-term rental market and will allow Mycrane to supply for the first time a business-to-consumer (B2C) service.

According to Mycrane Founder and CEO, Andrei Geikalo, former Chief Commercial Officer at global engineering and heavy lifting specialist Mammoet, the latest additions to the free platform are aligned with the company’s strategic plan.

Offer more value

“Since the start of our operations in mid-2021, customer feedback has always been that we should add all types of cranes to the Mycrane platform. The latest additions to our site bring us one step closer to that goal and allow us to deliver more value to our customers with a single solution.

“When companies or individuals use Mycrane to easily and quickly compare offers from crane rental companies, they will now find a much wider choice of machines available for hire. We plan to add all remaining lifting equipment to the Mycrane platform by the end of 2022.”

Mycrane has launched a free digital crane rental service, allowing users to post their lifting needs for free online. Crane rental companies then respond directly with their commercial offers, thus avoiding customers having to make multiple offline requests and saving them time.

Global Markets

The service is already operational in a number of key global markets, including the UK, UAE, Qatar, Oman, India, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

In these countries, franchisees are responsible for registering local crane rental companies on the platform and then marketing them to a diverse customer base including construction companies, freight forwarders, oil and gas and other energy customers.

Other Mycrane services include a free selector tool to help identify the right crane, advice for engineering, project management and support, and a marketplace where equipment, rigging equipment, parts spare, auxiliaries and industry vacancies can be displayed.– TradeArabia Press Office
